Not your traditional Easter - GOLD REEF CITY

On Monday, 28 March 2016, my family and I - along with lots of celebrity families and bloggers - were invited to Gold reef City Easter egg hunt. The magnificent theme park wanted us to experience their amazing Easter attractions and explore the complex on an Easter hunt with a special twist to it.

Instead of finding Easter eggs guests and their children were given a map to follow and embark on a magical journey through the theme park, to complete various tasks along the way and receive a stamp after each activity. Some of the activities included the children making their own delicious chocolate at “The Chocolate Lady”, visiting “The Old Mine Shop” to spot the 18 carat gold Easter egg for a surprise gift and have their faces painted along the way.
It was a morning of Easter delight, followed by a buffet lunch at Barneys Restaurant & Bar and The Easter Bunny Show, which took place in the Golden Amphitheatre. All the completed maps were entered into a lucky draw, which saw four lucky children winning an Easter hamper at the end of the day.
Says Gareth Kaschula, Marketing Manager for Gold Reef City, “We were delighted to host our media and celebrity friends and their families. We really wanted to share the ‘eggcitement’ of Easter with them and it was such a thrill to see the joy on the little one’s faces. It was an amazing day that saw families and their children creating memories they will treasure for a lifetime.”
Superman going wild on the drums, he loved it.

Star struck. Miss flower Jackson loved meeting the celebrities.

Loved the memories concept, absolutely unique.

'I love your work' she said. Motlatsi Mafatshe laughed so hard, like what does a 10yr old know about the arts.

The play was so funny. We have amazing talent in SA.

The man who stole the show, the entertainer, Black Jack

My gorgeous friend Laura and her family, I adore them.

You cannot go to Gold Reef and not take advantage of their beautiful backgrounds. How perfect is this setup.
